Quantum Gears carried out detailed safety evaluations on two leading open source small Language Models – Mistral 7B and Llama3 8B – testing them out-of-the-box without safety fine-tuning. The models were compared  on their capability to identify harmful prompts. These findings offer enterprises a framework for determining which
